To derive actionable insights from vast amount of data in an intelligent fashion some techniques are used called machine learning techniques. These techniques support for predicting disease with correct case of training and testing. To classify the medical data logistic regression and artificial neural networks are the models to be selected. Today in world a major health problem is Diabetes Mellitus for which many classification algorithms have been applied for its diagnoses and treatment. To detect diabetes disease in early stage it needs greatest support of machine learning, since it cannot be cured and also brings great complication to our health system. In this paper, we establish a general framework for explaining the functioning of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) in binomial classification and implement and evaluate the variants of Back propagation algorithm (Standard Back Propagation, Resilient - Back propagation, Variable Learning Rate, Powell-Beale Conjugate Gradient, Levenberg Marquardt, Quasi-Newton Algorithm and Scaled Conjugate Gradient) using Pima Indians Diabetes Data set from UCI repository of machine learning databases. We also compare Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) with one of the conventional techniques, namely logistic regression (LR) to predict diabetic disease decisions.

Computer Application (CA) is a branch of study responsible for the creation of software and applications. It is primarily focused on software technologies and allied areas. Computer Application is available as an academic program and professional area to become industry professionals. The field started during the 1980s and gradually developed in different higher educational institutions in India. Moreover, the branch Computer Application started and still offered in India only. Initially, the branch was started as an alternative field of existing Computer Science. Computer Science is purely concentrated on theoretical areas and mathematical concentration but Computer Application was started with a primary focus on software technologies and development. Initially, Computer Application branch started with Master’s program rather Bachelors program. It has started with three years program for Bachelor’s degree in any stream rather typical criteria of Bachelor’s Degree in concerned/ related/ allied field of study. Computer Application is today offered in different duration with different eligibility criteria. This paper discusses in general, an overview of Computing and Information Technology emphasizes on Computer Application. Paper highlighted the multiple entry options in MCA program with multiple durations in Indian universities with special emphasis to the Private universities.

A Novel Approach on Focused Crawling with Anchor Text
Authors: S. Subatra Devi
Page No: 1-9
A novel approach with focused crawling for various anchor texts is discussed in this paper. Most of the search engines search the web with the anchor text to retrieve the relevant pages and answer the queries given by the users. The crawler usually searches the web pages and filters the unnecessary pages which can be done through focused crawling. A focused crawler generates its boundary to crawl the relevant pages based on the link and ignores the irrelevant pages on the web. In this paper, an effective focused crawling method is implemented to improve the quality of the search. Here, three learning phases are considered namely, contentbased, link-based and sibling-based learning are undergone to improve the navigation of the search. In this approach, the crawler crawls through the relevant pages efficiently and more relevant pages are retrieved in an effective way. It is proved experimentally that more number of relevant pages are retrieved for different anchor texts with three learning phases using focused crawling.

Computing programs are internationally available at different levels and nomenclatures. The popular levels in this regard are Bachelors and Master’s Degree. Internationally the Bachelors programs are commonly available as BS and MS program. Though UK and its follower countries the level and nomenclature are also called and popular as BSc and MSc programs. Worldwide Computing and IT programs are available only in science platform (except few countries that offers Master of Engineering/ Technology program). As far as Research levels are concerned most common are PhD and M.Phil. Though, among these, PhD is most common. However, it is worthy to note that M.Phil. Program is not offered and not so much popular in some countries. M.Tech by Research is considered as another program of research level offered to the B.Tech. / BE degree holders and in some cases MSc degree holders. In India, M.Phil. and PhD are available in IT and Computing fields for the science candidates, though engineering post graduate in related fields may also join the program. M.Phil. program in India is offered only at universities. In recent past, the number of private universities has been significantly increased and thus many of them are offer M.Phil. And many of those private universities offer M.Phil.in the field of IT and Computing. The traditional M.Phil. Programs are concentrated on broad areas viz. Computer Science/ Applications. Though, a significant move was undertaken by the Srinivas University, Karnataka for offering M.Phil.in subfields of IT. The paper discusses in detail of M.Phil. Program available in India with a special focus on specialized M.Phil.in Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics etc. Paper also tries to move into healthy educational policy related work for future potentialities.
