DESIGNING A LEAN-AGILE & DEVOPS MATURITY MODEL FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Page No: 1-8

In 2017, organizations face intensifying pressure to accelerate digital delivery while maintaining reliability, security, and customer satisfaction. Traditional process frameworks provide valuable structure but often fail to capture the dynamic, cross-functional realities of Lean-Agile and DevOps transformations. To address this gap, this paper proposes a structured Lean-Agile and DevOps Maturity Model that guides enterprises on their journey toward continuous improvement. The model synthesizes industry frameworks such as SAFe and Scrum with DevOps practices including automated testing, continuous integration, and telemetry. It defines clear levels of maturity across dimensions such as deployment automation, release management, observability, security integration, and organizational culture. By providing a staged roadmap, the model enables teams to benchmark their current capabilities, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize investments. Through case studies in financial services, telecommunications, and e-commerce, we demonstrate how organizations applying this model reduced release lead times by more than 70%, improved deployment success rates by 40%, and institutionalized continuous improvement practices at scale. We conclude that structured maturity models remain essential in 2017 for aligning leadership, technology, and culture, offering both a diagnostic lens and a continuous improvement engine for modern enterprises.

A MULTILEVEL WAVELET TRANSFORM FOR PATTERN RECOGNITION

Page No: 1-7

Pattern recognition has become one of the fastest growing research topics in the fields of computer science and electrical and electronic engineering in the recent years. Advanced research and development in pattern recognition have found numerous applications in such areas as artificial intelligence, information security, biometrics, military science and technology, finance and economics, weather forecast, image processing, communication, biomedical engineering, document processing, robot vision, transportation, and endless other areas. The achievement of pattern recognition is most likely to benefit from some new developments of theoretical mathematics including wavelet analysis. An approach for feature extraction using wavelet transforms using its property of multilevel decomposition in pattern recognition application is proposed. The multilevel decompositionproperty of discrete wavelet transform provides texture information of an image at different resolutions. Iris recognition system using multilevel wavelet transform is explained. The technique developed here is implemented using three and four level decomposition of Discrete Wavelet Transform. Four level decomposition gives better results at increased threshold value. Reduced feature vector size improves the speed.

INNOVATIVE METHODS IN SHEAR REINFORCEMENT OF REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS

Page No: 1-9

Shear Reinforcement of reinforced concrete members has been great challenge, especially for reinforced concrete beams. The sudden shear failure of reinforced concrete beams due to excessive shear forces made the design for shear reinforcement even more challenging. This type of failure is completely undesirable and it demands higher factor of safety. This pushed researchers to look for other alternatives. Several alternatives to the traditional shear reinforced will be introduced and discussed in this study. New concept of shear reinforced called swimmer bars shear reinforcing system is explored in this study. This new type of swimmer bars require no welding but perform as good as the welded swimmer bars. This study focuses on new and innovative type of swimmer bars. This new swimmer bars system used in this study is called three dimensional space swimmer bars system. This type of swimmer bars are proven to be effective in taking care of the shear forces in reinforced concrete beams. Also, this type of improved swimmer bars system improves on the shear failure mechanism of reinforced concrete beams. Several beams were prepared and tested in the lab. Three different types of beams were prepared; beams reinforced with the new swimmer bars system, beams reinforced with welded swimmer bars system, and beams reinforced with the traditional stirrups. The results of the tests are discussed and presented. The three dimensional space swimmer bars system is basically a reinforcing bar bent several times in the three dimensions forming special configuration along with its coupling swimmer bar. This configuration makes the shear reinforcement system act as plane-crack interceptor rather than linear bar-crack interceptor. This new type of shear reinforcement is proven to be effective and economical. Flexural cracks are monitored throughout the test. The deflection of the beams under gradually increasing load is also measured and presented in this study

Predicting Football Outcomes by Using Poisson Model: Applied to Spanish Primera Divisin

Page No: 1-8

During the past decades, sport, in general, has become one of the most powerful competitions and the most popular in the world. As well, everyone is waiting for the winner and who will be the champion in the end in different tournaments. Among these sports, football's popularity is higher than all other sports. Football match results prediction, as well as the champion in various competitions, has been seriously studied in recent years. Moreover, it has become an interesting field for many researchers. In this work, the Poisson model has been presented to predict the winner, draw, and loser of the football matches. The method is applied to the Spanish Primera Divisin (First Division) in 20162017; the data has been downloaded from the football-data.co.uk website, which will be used to find the prediction accuracy.

Biological upgrading of the nutritional quality of Jatropha curcas kernel cake: effect on performance characteristics of goat

Page No: 1-4

This study was conducted to evaluate the feeding value of fungi treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake on feed intake, weight gain /loss , digestibility coefficient and blood parameters of West African dwarf goat. Five diets were formulated with diet A (control, without Jatropha curcas kernel cake); B (50% Penicillium treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake +50% Soybean cake), C (50% Aspergillus niger treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake + 50% Soybean cake), D (100%Penicillium treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake ) and E (100% Aspergillus niger treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake). The animals (n=15) were randomized against the experimental diets in a completely randomized design model for a 56 day period. The results revealed highest crude protein intake for diet A and the least for diet E. The ether extract (EE) and crude fibre (CF) consumption were significantly higher for the control diet (A) compared to the fungi treated based diets. The crude protein digestibility was highest in diet A and least in diet C. The serum and haematological values are within the normal range for goat. It was concluded that West African dwarf goat can be fed a diet consisting of 50% Aspergillus niger treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake /or 50% Penicillium treated Jatropha curcas kernel cake in a mixed ration. Keywords: Aspergillus niger, Penicillum sp, feed intake, digestibility coefficient, blood parameters
